Pet Aftercare Finder exists for one narrow moment: the point at which someone needs to arrange care for a pet who has died, or is about to, and has no idea who to call.
What we do
- Resolve your ZIP code to a covered market, or tell you honestly that it isn't covered.
- Ask the nine questions a provider needs answered to respond usefully.
- Route your request to independent local providers who offer what you asked for.
- Publish verified, source-linked provider and price records so you can compare before you call.
What we don't do
We do not operate crematoriums or aquamation facilities. We do not provide veterinary treatment. We do not perform euthanasia. We do not transport pets. We never take custody of your pet. Everything you arrange through Pet Aftercare Finder is delivered by an independent local business with its own staff, facility and licensing.
How we make money
Providers pay us for qualified referrals. Pet owners pay us nothing. That model creates an obvious temptation to exaggerate coverage, so our data methodology sets out exactly what we will and won't publish. Payment never affects whether a provider's record shows a capability we haven't verified.
